About the Role:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Credit & Claims Specialist to join our team. You will be responsible for managing the company’s receivables, monitoring customer credit risk, and handling claims and complaints related to suppliers, logistics, and customers. This is a dynamic role that requires strong analytical thinking, excellent communication skills, and the ability to collaborate across departments.

Responsibilities (job description):

At the top of our list of priorities for you is:

  • Receivables & Credit Control • Monitor customer account balances and ensure timely collection of receivables. • Communicate with customers regarding overdue invoices and resolve payment discrepancies. • Collaborate with accounting, sales, and legal departments on receivable issues. • Prepare regular reports on outstanding receivables and credit risk for management. • Evaluate new and existing customers' creditworthiness using available tools and databases. • Manage customer records and credit limits based on payment behavior and risk data. • Coordinate insurance claims and related communication with credit insurance providers.
  • Claims & Complaints Management • Process and track supplier and customer claims (logistics, product quality, etc.). • Communicate with suppliers, carriers, and internal teams to resolve complaints. • Maintain accurate records of all claims and support complaint resolution processes. • Participate in regular and annual inventories related to complaints and claims.
  • Legal & Compliance Support • Prepare documentation for legal actions (lawsuits, debt collection, insolvency). • Liaise with legal advisors, courts, and external parties regarding debt recovery. • Monitor insolvency proceedings and ensure timely registration of claims.
  • Administrative & Reporting Tasks • Maintain organized records of contracts, claims, insurance, and customer data. • Assist in internal audits, ISO certifications, and process improvements. • Monitor incoming correspondence in the company’s data mailbox.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in credit control, receivables, claims, or related finance roles.
  • Understanding of legal and financial processes related to debt recovery and complaints.
  • Familiarity with credit risk assessment tools (e.g., Dun & Bradstreet, CreditCheck)
  • - Strong analytical and organizational skills. - Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems (knowledge of RIS is an advantage).
  • Fluent Czech and English language required; Italian is a plus.
